Widgets: Twitter Feed (X)

The X (Twitter) feed widget connects with your X (Twitter) account and automatically displays new messages on your site every time you tweet. Social media is a great way for customers to keep updated with your business.

Note

  • Be sure to connect your business X (Twitter) account and not your personal X (Twitter) account.

  • Only feeds of public accounts will appear. Feeds of private accounts will only appear if the site visitor is signed in to X (Twitter) on a different tab of the browser.

  • Due to changes on the X (Twitter) platform, the widget may not function as expected. If this occurs, the recommended solution is to embed the feed using X's provided code using the HTML widget (for more information on this widget, see Widgets: HTML).

Content Editor

To access the content editor, right click the widget and select Edit Content. Or, if you are in flex mode or Editor 2.0, the option to access the content editor is available in the floating menu.

  1. To connect to your account, type your X (Twitter) user name.

  2. Select the type of X (Twitter) Feed from the drop-down.

  3. To display the header and footer, click the Show header and footer toggle.

Design Editor

To access the design editor, right-click the element, and click Edit Design. Or if you are in flex mode or Editor 2.0, select Edit Design from the floating menu to open the design panel.

Select the Number of tweets to display from the drop-down.

For information about design options that are not specific to this widget (for example, layout, style, or spacing), see Widget Design.
